Highlighted was the role of a common, but often untested genetic mutation on the MTHFR gene. The MTHFR gene affects how our enzymes process nutrients and regulate hormones, neurotransmitters and other chemical messengers in the body.  The following video is long, complicated and very technical, but well worth it if you or a family member suffers from one of the many complications, syndromes or diseases associated with these particular mutations.
